How to Contact Technical Support via USWired

For your convenience, we have provided several ways to contact our Support Desk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Normal Business Hours

Our normal business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

You may contact us several ways:

Email – Send an email to If your request is urgent please include the word “urgent” or “emergency” in the subject line.


Web Portal – Log into our Web Portal at (using the credentials previously provided) to create a new Service Ticket. If your request is urgent please be sure to check the “Emergency” checkbox. If you forgot your credentials, please follow the instructions on the login screen, or call our Service Desk.


Phone - Call our Service Desk (408-432-1144 or toll free 877-USWIRED) and select option 2 and then option 1 for Support, or to leave a message if calling after normal business hours. If your request is urgent please choose the Emergency option, and be sure to mention a phone number where we can call you back.

How do I get a MyCIIS Login?
Your login is created when you complete the inquiry form or submit an online application on the Admissions tab, or submit a paper application for admission.  When your information is entered into our system, an email will be sent to you with a login ID and PIN.
I forgot my User ID and/or Password.
Use the Retrieve User ID and Password feature on this page to have your login ID and password sent to the email address we have on file.
I was logged out automatically.  Why?
To protect unauthorized access, a time limit is set on each login session. After a period of inactivity, you will be automatically signed out. It may be a little inconvenient, but the security of your information is very important!
Why did I get a "Page Not Found" error?
During peak usage times, such as the Add/Drop period, MyCIIS can become overloaded and start to generate error messages. The only way around this is to close your browser and log back to MyCIIS again.
Is MyCIIS secure?
Yes. There is hardware and software in place to protect your data as it is sent across the Internet.
